HOW DOES THE ALL-ON-4 PROCESS WORK?
When you show up for your All-On-4 procedure, your dentist will first conduct a thorough examination of your teeth to determine whether or not this is a suitable treatment option. They will do so by taking x-rays and performing a CT scan. If any teeth need extracting, this can be done at the start of the All-On-4 surgery.
Depending on your situation, your dentist will insert between four and six implants in each dental arch during surgery. These are fitted with a provisional bridge, meaning no dentures are required throughout the process. Once your healing process is complete, this bridge will be replaced by a permanent porcelain bridge. This typically happens around six to nine months after surgery. Your dentist will provide any necessary aftercare instructions.
